DESCRIPTION:Starting next Thursday\, June 25\, join Sustainable Princeton for the debut of our new weekly volunteer series: Green Thumb Thursday! Every Thursday morning\, we’ll gather for a two-hour outdoor shift tending to Princeton’s green spaces\, with a rotating cast of locations throughout the community. \nWe’ll be kicking things off at PFARS on June 25. Please meet us there at 9:00 to enjoy the New Jersey summer morning\, get to know your fellow eco-conscious neighbors\, learn about Princeton’s native plants and their care\, and make a difference! \nNo experience necessary. Gloves\, tools\, and guidance will be provided. Please dress for gardening (sunscreen\, insect repellent\, a hat and/or sunglasses\, and closed-toe shoes are recommended). See you there!\n\n \nSIGN UP HERE\n*Please note\, Green Thumb Thursday events are weather-dependent and will be canceled if the temperature is above 90°F or if thunderstorms are in the immediate forecast.
