Sustainable Minds Discuss Community Solar

May 18, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

The Sustainable Minds series breaks down important sustainability topics, exploring complex issues just one hour at a time.

This special session will feature two dynamic speakers that will share the benefits of community solar, and help you decide if it’s right for you. Come with questions!

  • Elena Weissmann, Mid-Atlantic Director of Vote Solar: Elena coordinates Vote Solar’s campaigns in the Mid-Atlantic, advocating for inclusive and equitable solar policies throughout the region.  Elana will provide an overview of Community Solar within the region and nationally, addressing equity and accessibility issues.
  • Tracey Woods, Research & Project Specialist at Sustainable Jersey: Tracey Woods works with the Sustainable Jersey Energy Team as a Project Research Specialist. Tracey will focus on New Jersey, describing the current state of NJ’s community solar program. She will explain how you can subscribe and what municipalities are doing to enable adoption.

All events in the Sustainable Minds Series are virtual, free, and open to the public. Register for this event here.

Sponsorship for the Sustainable Minds speaker series is provided by NRG Energy, Inc.
