On September 24, a diverse panel of solar and energy efficiency experts will speak at Sustainable Princeton’s Great Ideas Breakfast. Speakers for this free event include Kelcy Pegler, Jr.. President of NRG Home Solar, Gary Finger, Ombudsman at the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities and local business and municipal representatives who will provide an overview of the solar and energy efficiency opportunities available statewide.  

“Sustainable Princeton is pleased to be bring together this diverse panel of experts who will shed light on trends in the solar industry as well as practical ways to become more energy efficient at home and at work.” The event will take place on Thursday, September 24th at 8:30 am in Princeton Public Library’s Community Room. A complimentary, light breakfast will be provided by Princeton’s Small World Coffee. This event is a zero waste event.

Sustainable Princeton is a 501(c)(3) organization that works to reduce the community’s energy use and waste as well as its impact on the natural environment by partnering with Princeton residents, businesses, schools, local government and other community groups to achieve measurable results. Its goals are to reduce energy generated by fossil fuels by 20% in Princeton by 2020 and waste 50% by 2016. Its vision is that everyone in Princeton lives and works in ways that are sustainable, including reducing energy use and waste, protecting the natural environment, and meeting human needs fairly and efficiently.
