If climate change is making you feel hopeless and afraid, this course through the Princeton Adult School is designed for you! This two-session interactive course led by Sustainable Princeton’s communication and outreach manager, Elana, will help you transform climate-change-related overwhelm into hope and meaningful action.
Students will learn mindfulness techniques to help cope with anxiety and difficult conversations, as well as how to effectively “vote with your dollar and feet” by spotting greenwashing and solar scams. We’ll get up close and personal with our biggest fears and deepest wishes for the future and channel them into creating unique, individualized action plans.
Elana is the Communications & Outreach manager for Sustainable Princeton, a 501c3 nonprofit. She is proudly vegan, unapologetically optimistic, and loves to make people laugh. You might catch her walking mindfully around Princeton.
