We’re hosting a Bioblitz at the historic Princeton Battlefield! This is going to be part of a 5-year project tracking the biodiversity of the Battlefield before, during, and after the ecological upgrades* taking place!
We need as many volunteers as possible to help us gather observations of plants, animals, and bugs of all kinds! Now through August! Your observations will be catalogued and used to track changes in the ecosystem.
How to join:

- Take as many photos of flora and fauna as you can and upload them to iNaturalist!
It’s a fun thing to do while hiking or walking with friends and family! We’ll host some volunteer days when we all go out together, but no need to wait! Get out there and enjoy the good weather!
*The Princeton Battlefield Society is adding a large apple orchard and converting more grass lawn to meadow with native plants. There is a historical element to this project, as well as an ecological benefit! We’re using iNaturalist to catalogue and track (hopefully) increased native plants, insects, and birds with these conscious upgrades!
