Starting next Thursday, June 25, join Sustainable Princeton for the debut of our new weekly volunteer series: Green Thumb Thursday! Every Thursday morning, we’ll gather for a two-hour outdoor shift tending to Princeton’s green spaces, with a rotating cast of locations throughout the community.
We’ll be kicking things off at PFARS on June 25. Please meet us there at 9:00 to enjoy the New Jersey summer morning, get to know your fellow eco-conscious neighbors, learn about Princeton’s native plants and their care, and make a difference!
No experience necessary. Gloves, tools, and guidance will be provided. Please dress for gardening (sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat and/or sunglasses, and closed-toe shoes are recommended). See you there!
*Please note, Green Thumb Thursday events are weather-dependent and will be canceled if the temperature is above 90°F or if thunderstorms are in the immediate forecast. Contact info@
