Sustainable Minds: Community Solar

On May 18, a special session featured two speakers to share the benefits of community solar:

Elena Weissmann, Mid-Atlantic Director of Vote Solar: Elena coordinates Vote Solar’s campaigns in the Mid-Atlantic, advocating for inclusive and equitable solar policies throughout the region. Elana provided an overview of Community Solar within the region and nationally, addressing equity and accessibility issues

Tracey Woods, Research & Project Specialist at Sustainable Jersey: Tracey Woods works with the Sustainable Jersey Energy Team as a Project Research Specialist. Tracey focused on New Jersey, describing the current state of NJ’s community solar program. She explained how you can subscribe and what municipalities are doing to enable adoption.
