Skip The Salt, Not Your Sidewalk!

Who’s ready for spring?

We are! We are!

In the event we have a snowy March, we want to remind you to use salt sparingly. Excessive use of salt can damage vehicles, vegetation, soil and cause health risks to animals. Shoveling snow is best for the environment — but, if you prefer a snowblower, many neighborhoods now have shared community snowblowers. The municipality of Princeton dictates snow must be removed from walkways and bikes paths within 48 hours after the snow stops. It is important to adhere to this to allow school children, walkers and bike riders to pass through safely. Be sure to help elderly neighbors and friends with snow removal.

Let’s hope March goes out like a lamb — think Spring!
