Sustainable Princeton Inducts 3 New Members to Board of Trustees

[Princeton, NJ]: Sustainable Princeton is pleased to welcome three new members to the board of trustees: Liz Cutler, a well-known leader in sustainability, founder of OASIS-Organizing Action on Sustainability In Schools and a whole school sustainability consultant, Kara Succoso Mangone, Head of the Sustainable Finance Group at Goldman Sachs, and Abraham (Abe) Silverman, Managing Director of the Non-Technical Barriers to the Clean Energy Transition Initiative at Columbia University’s Center on Global Policy. Gail Ullman, who has served as a trustee for several years, has been appointed Vice President, taking over the role from Alexandra Bar-Cohen who termed off the board at the end of 2023.

“Our trustees ensure our organization’s good governance—and we’re lucky that our trustees bring so much more, including industry knowledge, experience, and passion for our mission,” said Eve Coulson, Board President. “We are also so grateful for Alexandra Bar-Cohen’s work as Vice President of the Board, Chair of the Committee on Trustees, and member of the Fundraising Committee. In her six years as a trustee, not only did she provide leadership to Sustainable Princeton, but her entire lifestyle is a testament to her commitment to sustainability.”

“I look forward to working with Abe, Kara, and Liz. They bring a lot to the table with Abe being an expert in renewable energy, Liz with her work to make NJ schools more sustainable, and Kara’s work in global corporate sustainability.” Said Christine Symington, Executive Director of Sustainable Princeton.

In addition, Sustainable Princeton also welcomed full-time team member Alex Dill as Program Manager to lead its energy and greenhouse gas emissions reduction programs, bringing the team to 7 employees.
